Calling All Aspiring Panelists!
Whether you want to host a workshop or lead an exciting panel this is your opportunity to be part of the magic! AnimeKon Expo 2025 is fast approaching, and we’re now accepting panelists applications!
All prospective panel hosts MUST submit their panel or workshop ideas to AnimeKon Expo by completing the form below. A separate application form (up to 2) must be submitted for EACH panel or event that you wish to host. If more than two (2) submissions are received, only the most recent entries will be prioritized and reviewed.
Panel and Workshop applications will be evaluated by the AnimeKon team on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that submitting an application does NOT guarantee approval, and acceptance in previous years does NOT ensure acceptance this year. Selected proposals are guaranteed to receive follow-up correspondence about their application status.

Timeline
NOTE: Dates are subject to change at the discretion of the AnimeKon Expo team.
- May 31st, 2025: Panel and Workshop applications close at 11:59 PM.
- June 5th, 2025: Applicants will receive a status update regarding their submission.
- June 30th, 2025: Accepted panelists will receive room assignments and will be able to submit contact information for their co-hosts. Please note: Room assignments may change based on the overall needs of the convention.
- August 2025: Accepted panelists will receive the final AnimeKon Panelist Pack, which includes all necessary details for their panel prior to the convention.
