AnimeKon and Chattel House Books are pleased to announce that award-winning author Tim Waggoner will be the featured guest author at the FLOW Quantum Age in Barbados on August 27th & 28th!

At the tender age of five, Waggoner wrote his first story; a comic book version of King Kong vs. Godzilla on a stenographer’s pad.

He published his first novel in 2001, and since then he has published over thirty novels and three collections of short stories.

His novels include Like Death, a modern classic in the genre, and the popular Nekropolis series of urban fantasy novels. He’s also written tie-in fiction for the hit CW series Supernatural, Grimm, the X-Files, Doctor Who, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Transformers.

Waggoner’s articles on writing have appeared in Writer’s Digest, Writer’s Journal, and Writer’s Workshop of Horror. He’s been a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award and the Scribe Award, and his fiction has received numerous Honorable Mentions in volumes of Best Horror of the Year.

In addition to being an adjunct faculty member in Seton Hill University’s MFA in Writing Popular Fiction program, he’s a full-time tenured professor teaching creative writing and composition at Sinclair College.

In his own words, Waggoner hopes to continue writing and teaching until he “keels over dead”, after which, in keeping with his often macabre tone, he wants to be stuffed and mounted, and then placed in front of his computer terminal.

But until then he’ll be the featured guest author in Liefden, The Chattel House Books’ writer’s lounge at AnimeKon 2016 where he’ll be hosting several exciting and informative panels on creative writing.

Welcome to the show Tim!
